What does an Islamic studies class for kids cover?
A good Islamic studies class for kids covers belief, worship and character: the pillars of Iman and Islam, Wudu and Salah, daily duas, the stories of the Prophets, the Seerah and Islamic manners. We teach it one-on-one, in English, in classes of 30 minutes.
The course, step by step
Each level builds on the last, so a five-year-old and a twelve-year-old both get lessons that fit them.
Kids remember what they understand.
We use stories, questions and short activities, not lectures. Your child talks as much as the teacher does, and every class ends with one thing to share at home.
- Stories first, then the lesson inside the story
- Live practice of Wudu and Salah on camera
- Real questions kids have about being Muslim in America
How long are the classes?
30 minutes for most kids, 20 minutes for under-sevens. Two or three classes a week works well.
Can siblings learn together?
Yes, two siblings close in age can share a class, and siblings on separate classes get 10% off.
What parents get
A short monthly note on what your child learned, so you can build on it at home.
- Monthly progress note
- Parents welcome in any class
- Free teacher change anytime

What age is Islamic studies for kids online meant for?
Ages 5 to 14. Younger kids learn through stories and simple duas. Older kids cover Fiqh of Salah, Seerah and Islamic manners in more detail.
What topics are covered?
The six pillars of Iman, the five pillars of Islam, Wudu and Salah step by step, daily duas, stories of the Prophets, the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Islamic manners.
Can Islamic studies be added to my child’s Quran class?
Yes. Many families add 10 minutes of Islamic studies to each Quran class, or book one separate class a week. The price stays within your plan.
Which school of thought do you teach?
Mainstream Sunni teaching. For Fiqh topics like Salah, the teacher follows the madhab your family practices, whether Hanafi, Shafi’i, Maliki or Hanbali.
Is it good for homeschoolers?
Yes. We give homeschool families a term plan, attendance records and short written reviews for their portfolio.
Will my child get homework?
Only light review, like practicing a dua or telling a parent the story from class. We keep it simple so it does not compete with school homework.
