Online Quran Teacher Jobs: Teach With Us
We hire only one in five applicants. If you are an Alim or Alima, a Hafiz or a qualified Qari, teach children well, and can take classes at hours that suit US families, we would like to hear from you.
Last updated: 17 September 2026
Who we are looking for
- Ijazah holders in Hafs an Asim, with a verifiable Sanad
- Hafiz and Hafiza teachers for our Hifz tracks
- Nahw and Sarf specialists able to teach Quranic Arabic to adults
- Clear English, because most of our students are American children
- Genuine patience with children, which we test rather than assume
Our hiring process
Application and credential check
Ijazah, Sanad and formal education verified directly with the issuing teacher or institution.
Recitation assessment
Reviewed by our Academic Director for Tajweed accuracy and Makharij.
Live teaching demo
With a real child, observed by our team. This is where most strong reciters are declined.
Identity and background verification
Completed before any access to students.
Training and code of conduct
Child safeguarding, teaching American children, classroom tools, and a signed code of conduct.
What we offer
- Steady one-on-one students rather than constant churn
- Payment for reserved time, including student no-shows
- Scheduling within a fixed US window you agree in advance
- Quarterly review with real feedback, not silence
- Support from an Academic Director, not only an admin team
Hours
We teach US families around the clock, so we staff every shift. Students book whatever hour suits them, which means we need teachers for mornings, evenings and late nights in every US time zone.
What we do not do
- Pay less for female teachers, or charge families more for them
- Rotate students between teachers to fill gaps
- Ask teachers to promise timings they cannot keep
- Tolerate shouting, shaming, or private contact with students
How to apply
Email info@alkohiquranacademy.com with your Ijazah details, the subjects you teach, your languages, your available US hours, and a short recitation sample. We reply to every application, including the ones we decline.
