Change Quran Teacher Anytime: Our Policy

The short version

You can change teacher at any time, for any reason, at no cost. Tell us and we will normally have a new teacher in place within the same week.

Why we make this easy

A student who does not get on with their teacher will not progress, however qualified that teacher is. Personality, patience, accent and teaching style all matter, and no matching process gets it right every time. Academies that make switching difficult are protecting their own staffing, not the student.

Reasons families change

• The child does not feel comfortable, or has stopped enjoying class
• A preference for a female teacher, or for a native Arabic speaker
• A schedule change the current teacher cannot cover
• The student has moved to a new stage, such as starting Hifz
• No particular reason at all, which is also acceptable

How to request a change

What it costs

Nothing. There is no administrative fee, no lost classes and no change to your plan or billing date.

If your teacher is unavailable

For a planned absence we tell you in advance and offer a qualified substitute or a rescheduled class. For an unexpected absence we contact you as soon as we know, and the class is rescheduled or credited.

When we suggest a change ourselves

Occasionally we recommend a move, for example when a student is ready for a specialist Hifz or Arabic teacher. We always explain why, and you can decline.

Concerns about conduct

If your reason for changing relates to a teacher behaviour concern, tell us plainly. The teacher is removed from your child schedule immediately while we look into it, under our safeguarding policy.
